New Traffic plan for Sukhumvit Road

The Thai Traffic police are trying to make the traffic safer and have made the following changes until the 15 of December.

If the train proves to be successful they will be permanent

- Traffic between Soi 3 and Asoke will now be three lanes in each direction.
- Traffic travelling from Asoke to Soi 3 will be able to turn right or make a U-turn at Soi 11.
- Traffic travelling from Asoke to Soi 3 will not be able to turn right or do a U-turn at Soi 19.
- Traffic entering Sukhumvit Rd from sois 3/1, 5, 7, 9, 11, 17 and 19 will only be able to turn left into Sukhumvit Rd. There will be no right turn.
- Soi 11 will be a one way, traveling away from Sukhumvit Rd.
