Fire at Ratchada road Bangkok

Fire rages at the old Tokyu Department Store building on Ratchadaphisek Road. No casualties were reported.
Flames was far more than 100 metres into the sky as the fire consumed the Cyber World Building skyscraper, which dominates the area skyline.

The fire started just before dawn, just as the morning rush hour started. The Ratchadaphisek Road intersection is a major commuter route which caused the traffic afterward because the police have to close some lanes of the road in order to be able to stop the fire.

By coincidence, the site of the fire is virtually adjacent to land at the centre of criminal charges against the wife of ex-prime minister of Thailand, who returned to Thailand to hear the charges less than a day before the fire.
Also the police claimed there was no any sign of arson.
